It is intimidating to begin typing after 8 years of not posting a thing.
There are so many things that have happened and I have grown in so many different ways. Some things I believed have been clarified when they were messy, some have grown, some have diminished, some have been realized as having the right intention but being wrong (and fixing that).
So, you may look back on some posts, and they may reflect me at the latest being 37. I am now 45. I don't want to erase any of what I grew from. But I do want to write what I know now.
I have longed to, once again, type my thoughts. They may be of no import, but it helps me to sort them, and it feels good to share them even if not in a personal way-one to one. Face to face.
I was tempted to begin a whole other blog and perhaps I shall at some point. But the title of this journal/blog was so carefully thought and I still adore it. Emily's Window Seat. I sit there and observe and think and wonder and pray and read.
I am going to post this as a vow to type and share more often.
Until then...
I remain
Emily
